WebKraft Wireless offers a Snowbird plan designed
to give our customers in good standing an
opportunity to suspend their account from
30 - 90 days for FREE while they are away from home.
This unique customer oriented plan is just
one more way that we set ourselves apart from
the competition. Below is the policy that
is in force currently.
|
Snowbird Policy:
1. Customers are allowed to have their service
suspended for up to 90 days per calendar year. The
minimum amount of time allowed for the snowbird
plan is 30 days.
2. Any customers under contract will have their
contract extended for amount of time they take advantage
of the snowbird policy.
3. This courtesy is available only to residential
customers in good standing. If a balance is owed
the account remains active until all outstanding
bills are paid.
4. Billing for residential customers is on the
first of the month. Customers wishing to take advantage
of the snowbird plan may do so at any time during
the billing period. We count days starting on the
day you requested service be suspended. The actual
suspension date for the account will be the first
of the following month. There is no refund for any
unused portion of the month.
a. If you return before 30 days has passed and
you request that your account be enabled you will
be billed for the entire time you were gone.
b. After 30 days but before 90 days your account
will be enabled upon your return and you will be
billed on the first day of the following month.
c. After 90 days your account will automatically
be enabled and billing will begin on the first day
of the following month.
5. If the customer cancels their service for any
reason and has taken advantage of our snowbird plan
during that calendar year, they are responsible
for reimbursing us for the unpaid days used on the
snowbird plan. If a customer takes advantage of
our policy in the span of two years concurrently and
they cancel their account for any reason within 6
months of returning they will owe for all the unpaid
months from both years.
6. E-mail service will still be enabled on all
accounts during the suspension period. E-mail can
be checked via our webmail interface or POP service.
7. This policy was designed to allow our customers
who travel out of state on a seasonal basis to suspend
their service during their stay for a maximum of
90 days. The bullet points listed are effective
immediately and are in place to help prevent abuse
of this policy.
